At Liberty Wines, we have always recognised that our success is firmly grounded in our people. As such, we are delighted that following recent reassessment we have again achieved the Investors in People Standard, underlining the importance we place on the development and engagement of our team. We have now held this accreditation since 2011.
We are proud of this accreditation which recognises high performance through people and is known internationally as a mark of excellence. The assessor noted that we scored higher than average on all areas of the assessment framework, which is testament to the contribution made by people across the company.
The assessment is one of the components of our learning and development programme and is invaluable in helping us identify areas for improvement. In 2019, we will build on the wine knowledge across the team, aiming to improve our current 86% of staff holding WSET qualifications, as well as using our annual training budget to develop management skills and other professional qualifications.
Paul Devoy, Head of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate Liberty Wines, Investors in People accreditation is the sign of a great employer, and an organisation committed to achieving success by realising the potential of their people. Liberty Wines should be extremely proud of their achievement.”
